In 2009, proceeds purchased a passenger car for residents for transportation to doctors' appointments and offsite therapy sessions. In 2010, proceeds purchased a 150KW emergency generator with a 25% funding match by Louisiana's HVAC Generator Grant Program to improve power generating capability prior to and after hurricane emergencies and storm outages. In 2011, proceeds were dedicated to the new construction of a Wellness and Therapy Center that will offer state of the art facility to support an array of physical and cognitive therapies for our residents and adult day participants.
