Chautaqua New Orleans Memoirs Course
Poydras Home, along with Chautaqua New Orleans, a nonprofit educational organization, presents a six-week course about memoirs. The course lectures will be lead by Carol Gelderman, Ph.D., professor of English, University of New Orleans, and Bob Carr, author of Raising Our Kids on Bourbon: A French Quarter Love Affair. Highlights include literary analysis of notable memoirs, class discussion and instruction on and facilitation of writing individual memoirs.
