At 7:00 p.m. Poydras Home’s Magazine Street gate will open wide as Patrons and the public are welcomed to assemble on the front lawn to hear holiday favorites and gospel music performed by the New Orleans Council on Aging Community Choir. This portion of the evening is free and open to the public. Refreshments of hot cocoa provided by CC’s Coffee House and cookies compliments of Poydras Home will be enjoyed as we await the big moment when at 7:30 p.m. our majestic 30 foot tall tree will be brightly lit. After the party winds down at 8:00 p.m., our tree will continue to light up the sky through January 1st.

Proceeds benefit Poydras Home and it’s mission to preserve the dignity and grace of residents while providing quality and compassionate care in a vibrant community.
