Oak House Assisted Living at Poydras Home

Oak House Assisted Living includes both traditional Assisted Living suites and two secure Memory Care options known as Seasons at Oak House and Egret, a memory care Assisted Living house within our newly constructed Green Homes. A dedicated art studio is also available. Each beautifully appointed, traditional Assisted Living apartment features a kitchenette with a petite refrigerator, freezer and microwave provided, granite countertops and ample cabinetry, a secure, built in medicine storage space, coat closet, large walk-in wardrobe closet, spacious handicapped-accessible bath, and windows fitted with handsome wooden blinds overlooking our beautifully landscaped gardens. We encourage Assisted Living residents to make their space their own, choosing from designer paint colors and adding personal furnishings and favorite items. The Lallande Dining Room is enjoyed by our traditional Assisted Living residents while Seasons and Egret memory support houses have their own family-style dining rooms. Assisted Living residents enjoy the flexibility of available additional services, allowing many to remain in Assisted Living for years. Oak House Assisted Living fosters a particularly strong sense of community through special attention to each person’s social, cultural, recreational, and spiritual needs.
