Holiday memories were made with loved ones taking family photos with Santa by the tree, children enjoyed face painting and many items were checked off of holiday shopping lists while perusing our inside crafts and baked goods!
This year we returned to our traditional, single fundraising event. Festival proceeds are dedicated to the Center for Healthy Living. The Historic House will soon offer amenities shared by all residents of Poydras Home: a therapy gym, a yoga studio, a library, a meditative space, an expanded salon and spa, and a multipurpose space for programming and education.
Poydras Home presented four event sponsor levels and a $250 Family Festival Donation that included all family members, children, grandchildren and your resident. Many celebrated with a Family Festival gift this year.
Santa’s Sack is filled this year with gift certificates to iconic New Orleans restaurant venues, each valued at $100. Tickets for a chance to win were only $25.
Edith Mossy won a $100 Ralph Brennan Restaurant Group gift certificate to any Ralph Brennan restaurant.
Dianne McGraw won a $100 gift certificate to Clancy’s.
Leslie Alley won a $100 gift certificate to Creole Creamery.
